Come share your faith, time and talents with our parish children. We have openings for Catechists and Aides in our summer program, home study program, and the regular weekly program. If you are interested, please contact the Religious Education Office at (609) 597-7600 and ask for Mrs. Powers.
Religious Education
Children from K-8th as well as High School Students are provided opportunities for formal formation in the faith. Please call the office for more information (609) 597-7600. The Religious Education office is open from 10 AM to 3 PM, Monday-Wednesday.

Registration 2025/2026 is OPEN!
Registration for the 2025/2026 FALL school year is OPEN! Fall classes will begin the week of September 28, 2025. Page #3 of the registration form has the days of the week and times for specific classes. You can find and print all forms from the PDF links below.
Our 2025 SUMMER Program will run June 23rd - June 27th, 2025 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm each day.
Registration for Summer Program will be one day ONLY on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 9AM-12NOON or until classes are filled and will be accepted on a first come/first serve basis.
*Please note that the summer program is an accelerated program and is not for all children. Please take into consideration your child's learning ability when considering this option.
If you are new to our program please be sure that you are first registered at St. Mary's Parish Rectory, Barnegat (609) 698-5531 and that you bring a copy of your child's Baptismal Certificate. We cannot take any registration forms without a Baptismal Certificate.
