About Mrs. Jerden
Mrs. Jerden earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Writing Arts from Rowan University and holds certification from the State of New Jersey. She is currently in the process of obtaining her certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities from Rutgers University. Mrs. Jerden has spent time as a teacher of all age groups from KinderCare to Ocean County College. She has a deep passion for working with young learners and is eager to bring her experiences designing math and literacy centers to the Knights PreK Program. Mrs. Jerden loves to read, go for walks, camp with her family, and visit the zoo. She especially loves going on adventures with her two children and husband. Her favorite time of the year is the fall when activities including hayrides, apple picking, and pumpkin picking are in season.
