Participation in the athletic program at St. Mary Academy is a privilege that professes to teach positive leadership skills, character, responsibility, teamwork, and commitment while maintaining the mission of a Catholic education.  Athletics promotes school spirit, respect for coaches, teammates, and opponents, and enhances pride in the school community.

St. Mary Academy teams participate in the Monmouth -Ocean County Parochial Athletic League and must also follow the guidelines and policies of the Monmouth-Ocean County Athletic Council of the Diocese of Trenton.

In order to participate, students must be in good academic standing in all core academic classes as well as special areas and school conduct.

All participants must have a current health physical on file in the health office as well as a registration form, waiver, player code of conduct, and parent code of conduct on file.

Fees are associated with participation in the athletic program.  The fee schedule is different for each program and will be sent out with the registration packet each season.
