Welcome, Fifth Grade Knights!

 As we continue our journey during the season of Lent, the students have been practicing different ways that they can pray more, demonstrate small sacrifices, and almsgiving.  In Math, the 5th graders have been very busy subtracting fractions and mixed numbers.  In Language Arts, the students have been reading a narrative non-fiction about the American Revolution and have been writing summaries on some of the concepts they have read about.   In Science, we have begun to explore Life Science!  The students have been examining and writing about the molting processes of different organisms.   Finally, in Social Studies, we will are studying businesses and the economy. The 5th graders are continuing to work VERY hard in the New Year!  

Tuesday, 3/10: DARE begins for 5th Grade; Lenten Reconciliation ~ Grades 3-8

Friday, 3/13: Stations of the Cross ~ St. Mary of the Pines

 Monday, 3/16: NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS ~ Faculty Spirituality Day

 Tuesday, 3/17: TAG DAY ~ Wear green and donate a minimum of $2 to support Make a Wish Foundation

Wednesday, 3/25: 4th/5th Monthly Mass ~ Wear Regular Uniform

 Friday, 3/27: Stations of the Cross  ~ St. Mary of the Pines

Formal Mass Uniforms:

Boys: Navy slacks, white oxford button down shirt, uniform tie, gray vest or sweater with school logo, black belt, navy socks, and black or blue school shoes.

Girls: Plaid uniform skirt, white oxford shirt, navy vest or sweater with school logo, navy knee socks or tights, and black or blue school shoes.
