Summer is coming to an end and I am very excited for the school year to start. I would like to welcome everyone back to Spanish class at St. Mary Academy. This year  we would continue learning about a whole new language and Spanish cultures while having fun in class. Some listening and reading activities and games will be incorporated more in our classes.

MATERIALS

Students should bring:

Grades prek-4 to 8^th

• a folder (since I will be giving them copies and material to work in class and at home)
• colored pencils or crayons
• scissors
• glue sticks

*Grades 3^rd to 8^th

Students should also bring a notebook.

I am aware students have this supplies in their homerooms and they have been great bringing them every class.

I am very excited to have another wonderful year with all the students and looking forward to learn and grow together

Welcome back to school, I am very excited and happy to be back on my second year teaching Spanish at St. Mary Academy. I had so much fun with the students last year and I will be bringing new games and activities for the students to learn Spanish and the Spanish culture through fun activities and learning environment, like guess the word days, passwords where they need to use their speaking skill to enter the classroom, among other activities we will be doing.

Bienvenidos / Welcome

Hello everyone, I am very excited for my first year teaching Spanish at St. Mary Academy. I have many activities I want to do with the students throughout the year.

We will be exploring the Spanish speaking countries every month, learning as much as we can about them, their culture, their flags, their currency, their most important holidays, their food, etc.

I am looking forward to this year teaching students to explore other cultures and learn from them as well!
