It is difficult to believe that the end of the year is right around the corner. With three weeks remaining, the fourth graders will continue to be strong with their studies, and hopefully, have some fun along the way.  Students have done a wonderful job studying the Commandments in religion and relating those to their everyday lives. The 4th-graders have been working diligently on their biography research in social studies, and they will soon learn about the three different branches of government. Thank you for providing time at home for them to construct their biography bottle. I can't wait to see them! In literature, students will read about Cesar Chavez and Sacagawea. In math, the class has been studying measurement and will begin the study of geometry. In science, I was proud of the students’ animal species discovery projects, and, soon, they will have some hands-on earth science lessons about the water and rock cycles. Sometime during the last two weeks of school, I have planned a math project to be done in class which will allow them to demonstrate their creativity! It has been an amazing year, and I greatly appreciate this hard-working and kind group of students.
