About Mrs. Marks
Mrs. Erin Marks has joined the Knights as the new Music Teacher. Mrs. Marks has 20 years of experience as an educator in grades PreK-8th in both public and private schools. During this time, she has taught general music classes, conducted large and small ensembles, and developed music curriculum. Mrs. Marks has experience with both vocal and instrumental music as well as experience with musicals both in church and in school settings.
Mrs. Marks holds a degree in K-12 Music Education from Indiana University of PA, and has also studied at Duquesne University and the University of the Arts. Not only does she hold teaching certificates in music, but also in middle school with a specialization in Language Arts and Literacy.
In Mrs. Marks spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children as well as writing and composing music, riding her Peloton, running (she has run twice in SMA’s Annual Ugly Sweater Run), and she is a huge Star Wars fan.
