About Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Smith is a veteran teacher with 17 years experience in the classroom. Mrs. Smith is a  certified teacher of Preschool and K-6th grades and received her Masters Degree of Science in Education with a concentration in Childhood Education from The College of Staten Island.   Mrs. Smith taught 1st Grade at St. Bernadette Academy in Brooklyn prior to coming to St. Mary Academy/ASRCS.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from St. John's University.   In her spare time, Mrs. Smith enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.  They can usually be found on the beaches of Long Beach Island or leading her daughters' Girl Scouts Troop.
