Second grade ended a unit on properties of matter with a fun experiment! We learned that some actions can be reversed, and some cannot. Mrs. Vaughan learned that many students want to be scientists when they grow up!

All 2nd Grade students will be taking standardized tests on Monday morning, October 21, 2019. Please make sure students come to school well rested and please make sure they have a healthy breakfast! :) Thank you for being partners in your child's education :)

October 18- TAG DAY! Wear BLUE for Respect Life Month- all proceeds benefit Birthright of Barnegat

October 22 - BOOK FAIR for Grade 2!

October 24/25-Parent/Teacher Conferences-look for information to come home soon!

                                    Early dismissal on both conference dates.

October 26-Trunk or Treat / 1-3 at the school-Please join us as we have a fun time while we raise money for a great cause.

October 31- Halloween Costume Contest

Please join us for our next Mass at St. Mary of the Pines, November 1, 2019 @ 1:15 pm.

Students need to be in dress uniform.

Don't forget, all 2nd graders are expected

to read for 15 minutes each night!
