We prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation

We will begin Unit 2 understanding the importance of listening to the Word of God found in the Old Testament and the New Testament. We continue learning how to live the Ten Commandments and the Great Commandment. We learn how to make choices that show love for God and others and how to avoid sin. We recognize that God always loves us and shows us mercy and asks us to forgive others. Although your child will celebrate the Sacraments within their parish, in class we prepare to celebrate God's forgiveness through the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation.
Happy Halloween!

Thank you to all the parents who made our celebration a success!

Science fun!
Second grade ended a unit on properties of matter with a fun experiment! We learned that some actions can be reversed, and some cannot. Mrs. Vaughan learned that many students want to be scientists when they grow up!

Testing!
All 2nd Grade students will be taking standardized tests on Monday morning, October 21, 2019. Please make sure students come to school well rested and please make sure they have a healthy breakfast! :) Thank you for being partners in your child's education :)
